Marianne Craig
Library Manager and Secretary
Marianne Craig, retired after 41 years with Bank of America, a Senior Vice President and Technology Project Manager in Technology and Operations. She was a proven, capable leader, managing a portfolio of projects totaling up to $40MM, which focused on the design, build, test and deployment of mainframe, midrange and WEB platform software changes. She mentored and coached staff of up to 10 project managers, and led diverse project teams which consisted of 30-130 analysts, developers, architects, and quality testers.
Marianne was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to immigrants from Rumania and Yugoslavia. She received a BA with High Honors in Organizational Studies in 2014 from Eckard College, St Petersburg, Florida; is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and has received numerous certifications in Leadership and Management training. Marianne is Council Secretary at Bethel Lutheran Church in Clearwater, Head Administrator and Clarinet Section Leader of Pinellas Wind Symphony in Dunedin, and Board Secretary of the North Pinellas Community Band.
Marianne has resided in Oldsmar, Florida for 30 years, is married with two sons, two step sons and five grandchildren. She played the clarinet through high school, participating in wind bands, orchestra, and solo & ensemble contests. After a break of 40 years, she revived her music passion by joining the Pinellas Community Players and Dunedin Concert Band in 2020. She currently plays with the North Pinellas Community Band, the Pinellas Wind Symphony and the traveling Florida Symphonic Winds.
Marianne and her husband are a Ballroom Dance Amateur Couple, certified Silver I Social Standard, dancing with Arthur Murray for 12 years. In addition to her love of music, she enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking and kayaking.
